Pamela Facey is a jack of many trades. If she isn't in the salon, you may find her refinishing some old furniture, going on adventures with her family or visiting friends and making new ones along the way. She doesn't believe things cannot be revived, including people. In her 39 years of living, she knows that human connection and love are the cure for an empty soul. There is nothing a little extra love can't fix in her eyes.
It was a terrible haircut in the seventh grade that launched Pamela’s love affair with hair. Before flat irons and quality hair product was a thing, Pamela had to learn the art of hairstyling pretty quickly. She learned it, loved it, and as it turns out, was good at it. So good that her high school aesthetics teacher told her to skip class so her skills wouldn’t embarrass her classmates.
What followed was years of training, working, and teaching, all around Toronto and the GTA. Pamela has worked in salons, grown a home-based business, styled hair on film and television sets, and taught high school students. Her FAVOURITE part of all of this is the connection she has with every single person that walks through her doors. From the moment they walk in until they leave, she ensures that they are comfy, cozy, and happy. At the end of the day, Pamela is the happiest when she’s making her client’s hair dreams come true in a space to call her own. She can’t wait to host you at the Elevate Method Academy.

My biggest reason for all of this is that I’m tired of our industry not having a support system for stylists!
We’re constantly pinning ourselves up against one another, living in fear of being in competition with other service industries, salons, stylists… We are here and we are united! We need to uplevel and truly value ourselves so that everyone around us can see that value too. Seeing past our insecurities and dealing with them from the root, having a safe space for all of us to come together and feel that connection is how we can grow.
