It was a terrible haircut that launched Pamela’s love affair with hair. Then a seventh grade tomboy with lots of curls, a misguided hairdresser lopped her hair off at the chin. It was an era before every household had a flat iron; Pamela had to learn the art of hairstyling pretty quickly. She learned it, loved it and as it turns out, was good at it. So good, that her high school aesthetics teacher told her to skip class, so her skills wouldn’t embarrass her classmates.
What followed was years of training, working and teaching, all around Toronto and the GTA. Pamela has worked in salons, grown a home-based business, styled hair on film and television sets and taught high school students. At the end of the day, Pamela is the happiest when she’s making clients’ hair dreams come true in a space all her own. She can’t wait to host you at Elevate Beauty Lofts.
