Shear Therapy Session: What Is Real Beauty?

As some of you might remember, a few months ago I introduced Shear Therapy. An outlet to inspire, encourage, and spread love through some of my client’s stories. When you sit in that chair, it’s more than just a hair appointment, it’s an opportunity to have real meaningful conversations. Whether it’s tears of laughter or tears of pain, we experience it together – knowing and understanding each other even more so. 

What does real beauty look like to you? For some, It might be our body size, clothing, style or type of grooming. During this session, we sit down with Jen, a long-time client and personal friend to discuss this topic that seems to be a constant struggle for most women.  

In this short video, Jen discusses the common issues we face when comparing ourselves to each other and the discouragement that comes from it. Real beauty comes from within and once we achieve that, only then can we be truly happy with ourselves, inside and out. Throughout the interview, Jen expresses her journey of how she’s been able to achieve inner beauty and the daily efforts she makes to maintain that feeling.
